I have been experimenting with creating 360° video capabilities in Blender and there was no better test subject than the 2015 AFC Asian Cup brand activation. It takes the viewer inside the AFC Asian Cup 2015 Fanzone and see in situ, the different digital activation that was set up inside the dome. The digital activation include; Digital Foosball, Digital Facepainting Kiosk, Virtual Shootout and Score and Roar.

This videos is shot using Blender’s 360° camera setting and it has taken me close to 5hrs to render this low quality 8sec clip. I know you’re all thinking, “Upgrade your computer!” Well until someone decides to help out with abit of corporate sponsorship, I have to put up with the leaving the computer on all night rendering, which I don’t mind.

For those new to 360° video, you can pan around using the mouse, but for a more immersive experience, watch this video on youtube using your mobile device and control what you see by moving your mobile around.
