What a contrast Prague was to Berlin! I had a wonderful time in Prague. The travel book we had documented that Prague was virtually left un-touched by the war and therefore all it's old streets and buildings remained. It was like walking around on a movie set. Everything was so pretty. New Year's Eve was different to any NYE I've ever had. We just walked around the city till we finally decided on one of the bridges to watch the fireworks. Though very small in scale compared to what Sydney would have put on, it was still exciting to watch and made even more spectacular due to Prague's medieval setting.
